Cloud Zoom has many configuration options to match the look and feel of your website.

You can now use all the great features of the new Cloud Zoom in your Magento store. It works on all your Magento product images and any associated gallery images.

As Star Plugins is the developer of the original base Cloud Zoom jQuery plugin, it means the Magento module correctly implements all features of Cloud Zoom, and will be updated regularly to work with new Cloud Zoom releases.

Note: the Magento module is only for the new Cloud Zoom V2.0 or newer.

Integrating Cloud Zoom Magento Module

  1. Download the Magento Cloud Zoom module package
  2. In Magento Admin, select System > Magento Connect > Magento Connect Manager
  3. Select Direct Package File Upload > 2 Upload Package File
  4. Choose the downloaded package (StarPlugins_CloudZoom-X.X.X.tgz) and click Upload

That's it! Cloud Zoom should now be working on your product images.

In Magento Admin, you can change Cloud Zoom settings by selecting System > Configuration > Catalog > Star Plugins Cloud Zoom.

If you purchase a Cloud Zoom license, copy the cloudzoom.js file from your licensed download to the Magento /js/starplugins folder.

Using Fancy Box

If you would like to use a modal light box effect with Cloud Zoom, we recommend Fancy Box as it is a mature and well supported plugin that works with the latest versions of jQuery.

Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to supply Fancy Box as part of the Cloud Zoom download, but you can download the latest version from fancyapps.com.

Do the following to enable Fancy Box support in Cloud Zoom:

  1. Create a folder called fancybox in your Magento root folder
  2. From the Fancy Box download, copy the contents of the source folder into the previously created fancybox folder
  3. In Magento Admin, you must enable Fancy Box support by selecting System > Configuration > Catalog > Star Plugins Cloud Zoom and changing the Use Fancy Box setting
